I love to go fishing. I mean I really love it! When I was young I spent many days and nights on rivers and old lakes catching fish. There is something about fishing that gets in your blood, and it never quite goes away. For several years now I have been to busy to go fishing, but I have found joy in using some of the same tactics that I used in catching fish as I fish for people in an effort to bring them to the Lord. In fact I am typing these words because I am fishing for you.
I noticed in the Bible that when Jesus went to find deciples to work with, he went after the fishermen. Many times as he taught them he talked about fishing, and he even told them that he wanted to make them to become fishers of men.
This message is all about being fishermen going after people, and trying to reel them into the kingdom of God.
